Loving wife, mother, grandmother

DRACUT - Nancyjean (Ward) Callery, 76, a resident of Dracut, passed away on Tuesday October 3, 2017 at a local healthcare facility with her loving family by her side.

She was the beloved wife of the late Edward R. Callery.

Born in Lowell on May 16, 1941, she was a daughter of the late John and Catherine (Boyle) Ward. Nancy was a graduate of Notre Dame Academy in Tyngsboro and worked for many years at the former St. John's Hospital in the Admissions Department as a Medical Secretary. Prior to her retirement, she was employed as a Medical Secretary by Dr. Edward Tober.

A devout Catholic, Nancy was a communicant of St. Michael Church in Lowell.

She enjoyed spending summers with her family at their Cobbett's Pond cottage in Windham, NH. She was a member of Pine Terrace Association and was the former treasurer for many years.

Nancy enjoyed traveling with her husband Ed and their friends and was a member of the Red Hat Society in Pelham, NH and Dracut, MA.

Nancy's family would like to thank the staff at D'Youville Senior Care for the compassionate care given to her during her stay.

She is survived by her children Jonna M. Clermont and her husband Ronald of Pepperell and Christopher Callery and his wife Laurie (Jean) of Hudson, NH; four loving grandchildren, Cameron and Connor Clermont and Katherine and Olivia Callery; her brothers and sisters in law, James and Agnes Callery of Lowell and Michael and Ruth Byrne of Chelmsford, and many dear friends.

Your parents were my favorite camp people. Your Dad never stopped teasing me about whatever boyfriend happened to be around at the moment---and your Mom was unceasingly kind(and accepted everyone for what they were). I loved knowing that they were up the hill.
